Are you looking for support in one or more of the following areas?
Our prices depend on the respective service. The exact hourly rates are always displayed transparently in the online booking process.
You pay automatically, but after the order has been completed and according to the actual order duration.
We charge a booking and agency fee of €3.90 (incl. VAT) per booking. In the case of serial appointments such as regular cleanings, this is only due for the first appointment.

Matching

Enter all the practical details about your job: your desired date, time, frequency, number of helpers and, of course, a description of your job. This will be sent directly to qualified helpers in your area who can apply for it. You will receive the support proposal by email. Log in to your profile and accept it!
Important note: You will be asked to enter a payment method to complete the booking. Don't worry: this will only be charged after the order has been completed and according to the actual duration of the order. If necessary, you and your helpers have 24 hours after the order has been completed to adjust the booking duration.

Implementation, payment and invoice

Our helpers will carry out your job according to your wishes. Your invoice will be generated 24 hours after the job is completed according to the actual job duration and payment will be triggered.
You can find all invoices at any time in your customer profile under the "Documents" tab.

Financial advantage

You can deduct up to 20% of your expenses from your tax bill at the end of the year. Your total tax liability is therefore automatically reduced by this amount.
Your tax advisor can explain to you whether you need to claim the "household-related applications" annex, the expenses under income-related expenses or elsewhere.

Can I use Helferei to find suitable helping hands in my neighborhood?

We are currently active in Berlin and Munich and offer everyone in both cities an easy way to book essential services for their home and family. To make access to our services as barrier-free as possible, Helferei offers three convenient booking channels: our online booking, booking by phone and, in Berlin, soon a local location.

Do I have to provide all the equipment and tools for my order at Helferei myself?

That depends on the service in question. In the case of cleaning services, customers usually provide all the cleaning supplies. This means that helpers can work according to your preferences and, for example, use sustainable cleaning products or avoid cleaning products that you are allergic to. Feel free to contact us if you need appropriate recommendations. For more complex services, however, such as those handled by handymen and certified carpenters, you should discuss the necessary tools with your helper before each job. Clarify together what you have on site and what your helper should bring. If something is missing, our helpers will be happy to assist you with the procurement - you can book the effort via the online booking.

Are the services insured by Helferei ?

We personally select all our helpers. Before we activate their profiles on our platform, we check their identity, verify their talents and their business registration or tax number. Where necessary, we provide support with the registration process. As registered self-employed people, we then place our helpers in your neighborhood.
This means that they do not work for us and that all service contracts are concluded directly between you as a customer and our helping hands. The Helferei acts purely as an intermediary. This means that our helping hands are themselves responsible for complying with the relevant safety and insurance precautions for assignments. For particularly complex assignments, e.g. in the skilled trades, we always recommend checking with the respective helper whether the relevant insurance cover is in place.

What do I do if I am not satisfied with a service that I have booked through Helferei ?

There are two options here:
1/An agreement between you and the helper: Either you agree directly with the helper on improvements immediately after completion of the assignment. A possible and fair adjustment of the invoice amount for both sides can be part of this agreement. You would only have to communicate this to the Helferei .
2/Mediation of a fair solution by the Helferei: If this does not work, you can contact the Helferei at any time by phone or email. We support both sides in finding a fair solution. Please contact our customer service: support@die-helferei.de

A small but important tip: We can only emphasize how important communication between you and your helper is before the job starts. Don't be afraid to discuss all relevant details and open questions in advance - there's no such thing as a stupid question! Experience has shown that this is very beneficial for everyone's satisfaction. At the very latest, you should clarify any discrepancies or misunderstandings before invoicing.
