Job placement

You will now receive job suggestions in your Helferei and your email inbox. You can apply for them in your profile.
As soon as the customer completes the booking, you will see all the details: the contact details, the exact address and other information from the customer (e.g. doorbell sign, key handover).

Implementation of the jobs

As a helper at Helferei , you are part of our community, which stands for respect, tolerance and openness. Our guidelines contain our most important principles for helpers in their dealings with customers. Please note that repeated violations may result in us having to deactivate your Helferei.

Of course, things can sometimes come up - we don't expect perfection. However, what we absolutely and always expect is proactive, transparent and, if possible, forward-looking communication between you and your customers.

Our guidelines

Automatic payments after each job

You will be paid according to the actual duration of the job. Very important: You and the customer have 24 hours after the order is completed to adjust the appointment duration if it differs from the original booking. Only then will the invoice and payment be generated based on the duration. The payments first go to your Stripe account and are transferred to you every Monday - depending on what you have set up in Stripe yourself.

Please note: If a customer has selected the SEPA payment method, it may take up to 17 bank working days for the payment to be processed and credited to your Stripe account. We have no influence on this, as it affects the technical basis of the payment systems. Credit card payments, on the other hand, are triggered after 24 hours.

Do I need certain tools to support my neighbors via Helferei ?

Not necessarily. It depends on the service in question. For cleaning services, our customers usually provide all the tools they need. For more complex services, however, such as crafts and repairs, you should talk to your customer about the necessary tools before each job. Clarify together what the customer has on site and what you should bring with you. If something is missing, you are welcome to help your customers with the procurement - of course you will be paid for this.

What do I need to take part in Helferei ?

The helpers who offer services through us are all registered. They can therefore issue invoices. This means that a work permit for self-employed activities in Germany and being of legal age are formal requirements. In addition to the formal requirements, we value friendly, respectful and service-oriented interaction with other people. You should therefore be happy to help out your neighbors with all the little things in everyday life. Punctuality, open communication and an eye for detail are also important. Of course, you'll need some free time and ideally speak at least English.
