Helferei is currently there for families in Berlin and Munich. If you are looking for regular childcare, acute pet sitting or other support solutions such as everyday help for senior citizens, just get in touch.

What specific services can I book with Helferei in the area of everyday help and care?

This service category covers everything that concerns your loved ones - whether human or animal.

Our helpers offer babysitting, for example, i.e. care for children under the age of three. Support for children over the age of three, on the other hand, would have to be booked in the childcare category. We also had requests for everyday help, e.g. getting drinking water for elderly people or doing other shopping. In the area of pet sitting, our helpers provide ad hoc support if, for example, a trip comes up. We also had requests for regular walks with the dog.

How much does it cost to book a care solution or an everyday helper through Helferei ?

In each service category, the price depends on the respective service and also varies per city. You will soon find a complete price list for Berlin and Munich on our homepage.

However, your estimated final price is displayed transparently in the online booking process. It increases or decreases with the number of hours you select. Just look in the top right-hand corner of your browser. In any case, you only pay after the order has been completed and according to the actual duration of the order.

In addition, there is a one-off booking and matching fee of €3.90 (incl. VAT). This fee is charged once after the first order for one-off and regular bookings.

Will I receive an invoice?

You will receive an invoice for all orders, which you can use to deduct up to 20% of your expenses for care and everyday assistance services from your taxes at the end of the year. You will find the invoice 24 hours after completing your order in your profile under the "Documents" tab. It serves as a receipt that you can submit with your tax return. This will reduce your tax liability by this amount.

We advise all customers to make use of this option in order to receive a portion of their expenses back at the end of the year.

Does my health or care insurance pay for the care and everyday assistance services provided by Helferei?

We have already worked with health insurance companies on an individual basis for customers. However, the Helferei does not yet have a comprehensive reimbursement agreement with a statutory health or care insurance fund. As a result, everyday helpers from the Helferei cannot currently be financed via the relief amount or preventive care.

Just ask us whether we can support you in your individual case via your health or care insurance!

Are the helpers trained in everyday help, childcare or babysitting?

We have some childcare assistants who are trained nursery nurses or pediatric nurses. However, this is not the rule. Most of them have experience in these areas, as they have been babysitters while traveling or living abroad or have looked after a family's children on a daily basis as an au pair.

If you have any special requirements in terms of qualifications or training, please specify this in the information field when you book - we will then see what we can make possible!

What does Helferei do to ensure customers' trust in the helpers?

As a matter of principle, we select all our helpers personally.

On the one hand, we look at the individual person: Before we activate a profile on our platform, we not only check the identity of the helpers, but also their talents and experience. Especially in the area of domestic help, we ask for relevant previous experience. This allows us to match our helpers with our customers at any time with a clear conscience. For example, if someone does not upload their own proof of identity, this person will not appear in our pool of service providers and therefore cannot be booked.

Secondly, we check the administrative side: We ensure that we record all important data on the tax situation (e.g. craft license) and insurance status. If important information is missing, we will either help you to obtain it. If this is not possible and cooperation by legal means is therefore not possible, we refrain from working with the person in question.

Enter all the practical details about your job: your desired date, time, frequency, number of helpers and, of course, a description of your job. This will be sent directly to qualified helpers in your area who can apply for it. You will receive the support proposal by email. Log in to your profile and accept it!

Implementation, payment and invoice

Our helpers will carry out your job according to your wishes. Your invoice will be generated 24 hours after the job is completed according to the actual job duration and payment will be triggered. More about payment here.
You can find all invoices at any time in your customer profile under the "Documents" tab.

Financial advantage
