This service category covers everything concerning your loved ones – whether human or animal.
Our volunteers offer services such as babysitting, meaning childcare for children under three years old. Support for children over three years old would need to be booked under the childcare category. We've also received requests for everyday assistance, such as getting drinking water for elderly people or running errands. Our volunteers also provide ad-hoc pet sitting support, for example, when someone needs to travel. We've also had volunteers take dogs for regular walks.
In each service category, the price depends on the specific service and also varies by city. You can find a complete price list for Berlin and Munich on our website . Prices for business customers are available on our business page.
Your estimated final price will be displayed transparently during the online booking process. It increases or decreases depending on the number of hours you select. Look in the upper right corner of your browser for this information. You only pay after the order is completed and according to the actual order duration .
In addition, there is a one-off booking and matching fee of €3.90 (incl. VAT). This fee is charged once after the first order for one-off and regular bookings.
You will receive an invoice for all services , which allows you to deduct up to 20 percent of your expenses for care and daily assistance services from your taxes at the end of the year. You will find the invoice in your profile under the "Documents" tab 24 hours after your service is completed. It serves as proof of service that you can submit with your tax return. This will reduce your tax liability by this amount.
We advise all customers to take advantage of this option in order to receive a partial refund at the end of the year.

We have already worked with health insurance companies on an individual basis for clients in the area of household help. However, this was not done via the relief allowance, but rather via Section 38 of the German Social Code, Book V (SGB V). Everyday helpers from the Helferei These costs cannot currently be financed via the relief allowance or respite care.

We have a few childcare workers who are trained early childhood educators or pediatric nurses. However, this is not the norm. Most bring experience in these areas, having worked as babysitters while traveling or during stays abroad, or as au pairs caring for a family's children on a daily basis.
Should you have any special requirements regarding qualifications or training, please specify this in the comments field during your booking – we will then see what we can make possible!
We generally select all our helpers personally.
Firstly, we focus on the individual: Before activating a profile on our platform, we verify not only the helpers' identity but also their talents and experience. Especially in the area of domestic help, we inquire about relevant prior experience. This allows us to confidently match our helpers with our clients at all times. For example, if someone doesn't upload their proof of identity, they won't appear in our pool of service providers and therefore cannot be booked.
Secondly, we check the administrative side: We ensure that we record all important data on the tax situation (e.g. craft license) and insurance status. If important information is missing, we will either help you to obtain it. If this is not possible and cooperation by legal means is therefore not possible, we refrain from working with the person in question.
