Good news for everyone who needs relief in everyday life: Insured persons who are entitled to domestic help or a cleaner through their health insurance company can now request this service directly from Helferei in Berlin, Munich, Leipzig and Cologne!
Whether after surgery, during pregnancy, during rehabilitation, or in the event of an acute illness — in many cases health insurance covers part of the costs for a housekeeper, cleaning service, or household assistance. With Helferei , organizing this assistance is now particularly easy: digital, transparent, and legally compliant.


Contact your health insurance provider to request a home care assistant under Section 38(1) of the German Social Code, Book V (SGB V), and be sure to provide our official institution code (IK). This allows us to bill your health insurance provider directly. It also helps your health insurance provider clearly identify the Helferei.

As soon as you receive the letter of coverage from your health insurance provider, please send it to us at 📩 support@die-helferei.de – we’ll create your personalized booking link for online appointment scheduling based on your specific needs.

You can conveniently book your domestic help, cleaner, or cleaning staff online using your personal link. Our system handles the entire process and invoicing in accordance with your reimbursement agreement.

The Helferei is a non-contractual organization with its own institutional code (IK). This means that, in principle, we are authorized to provide services that are recognized by health insurance companies and may be reimbursed. However, the final decision regarding coverage always rests with your health insurance provider.
In all cases, the refund has been approved so far. This is especially true since many customers have already introduced their preferred cleaning assistant
