Such information is not only extremely helpful when selecting suitable helpers. Certain helpers might accept or reject your assignment precisely because they (do not) have the necessary tools.
Above all, however, this information serves to ensure good preparation and smooth implementation of your order.
So don't use the information field in your online booking or give us a call so that your order is perfectly prepared.
You will receive an invoice for all jobs, which you can use to deduct up to 20 percent of your expenses for handymen services from your taxes at the end of the year. You will find the invoice 24 hours after completing your job in your profile under the "documents" tab. It serves as a receipt that you can submit with your tax return. This will reduce your tax liability by this amount.
For more complex jobs, such as laying floors and tiles, or painting and electrical work, we often work with qualified subcontractors. As a rule, they first come for an inspection. You will then receive an offer for a lump sum, including all the details of its composition. If you accept this, the order will be placed.
We try to estimate the final amount as accurately as possible. However, we ask for your understanding that it is sometimes not possible to predict all details precisely in carpentry.
The services in the area of carpentry, DIY, repair and renovation start at € 32.00 per hour (incl. VAT) in the area of furniture assembly. In rare cases and depending on the respective handyman, an additional VAT of 19 percent may apply.
Services are billed every 30 minutes from one hour. After completing a job, you can adjust the booking duration to the time you actually need. This means you never pay for something you didn't need.
In addition, there is a one-off booking and matching fee of €3.90 (incl. VAT). This fee is charged once after the first order for one-off and regular bookings.

Most of our handymen in the carpentry & DIY are equipped with the usual tools and aids for regular jobs.
Is it very technical or do you have specific requirements for light bulbs, siphons, awnings, tiles, screws, dowels, etc.? No problem, in these cases there are two options:
It is very important that you communicate transparently with your helpers in advance, especially regarding resources and possible material costs. This way, everyone is as well prepared as possible and your assignment can be carried out to everyone's complete satisfaction without any surprises.

Small but important tip: In general, we can only emphasize how important communication between you and your helpers is before the start of the job, especially in the handymen and craft sector. Don't be afraid to discuss all relevant details and open questions in advance - there's no such thing as a stupid question! Experience has shown that this is very beneficial for everyone's satisfaction. At the very latest, you should clarify any discrepancies or misunderstandings before invoicing.
We personally select all our helpers. Before we activate their profiles on our platform, we check their identity, verify their talents and their business registration or tax number. Where necessary, we provide support with the registration process.
As registered self-employed persons, we then place our helpers in your neighborhood.
This means that they do not work for us and that all service contracts are concluded directly between you as a customer and our helping hands. Helferei acts purely as an intermediary. This means that our helpers are themselves responsible for complying with the relevant safety and insurance precautions for assignments. For particularly complex jobs or very valuable items, we recommend that you check with the respective handyman or carpenter whether the relevant insurance cover is in place.

As a matter of principle, we select all our helpers personally.
On the one hand, we look at the individual person: Before we activate a profile on our platform, we not only check the identity of the helpers, but also their talents and experience. Especially in the area of domestic help, we ask for relevant previous experience. This allows us to match our helpers with our customers at any time with a clear conscience. For example, if someone does not upload their own proof of identity, this person will not appear in our pool of service providers and therefore cannot be booked.
Secondly, we check the administrative side: We ensure that we record all important data on the tax situation (e.g. craft license) and insurance status. If important information is missing, we will either help you to obtain it. If this is not possible and cooperation by legal means is therefore not possible, we refrain from working with the person in question.
